About the Role:

We are looking for someone creative, with excellent people skills and a strong background as an A2P SMS Account Manager. Your goal is to contribute to the development of the company in the Messaging Ecosystem with your energy by leading the Sales Team and by creating new B2B Customers Channels and Revenues with multi-regional and national / corporate customers. You will be responsible to either build and/or develop a team of high-quality commercially minded account managers and new business development executives. You will also need to manage key customer accounts and to develop a strong account profitability model to ensure maximization account revenues and develop the share of the ‘customer spend’. Additionally, you will need to develop pricing and tender management policies, utilizing CRM and come up with new promotions to retain clients and attract new ones. Overall, you will be responsible for the planning, the reporting and definition of targets. We welcome your creativity and business acumen to propose new ideas that can lead to business development.

You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Wholesale, Sales or Business Development areas, preferably with A2P SMS on an international basis
  • Excellent understanding of the A2P SMS Ecosystem with industry relationships within Bulk SMS (Wholesale-Enterprise, OTT, Business Messaging, Long Numbers, Short Code, VAS etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Management, Economics or similar
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage with people from around the World
  • The ability to create a strategy and to implement it as you will  not be inheriting a large team of sales or account professionals
  • Strong understanding of B2B / SMS markets
  • Commercially minded, with the vision and energy to thrive in this challenging role and in a fast-growing sector
  • The ability to motivate, coach and grow a team
  • Capacity of initiative, working with a high level of autonomy and result oriented, organized and careful with details
  • Positive and problem-solving mindset
  • Extended professionl network in the Wholesale Telecommunication Industry
  • Fluency in Enligsh, additional languages considered a bonus
