SMS Wholesale Manager – LATAM

About the Role:

We are looking for someone creative, with very good people skills and a strong analytical mind to join our Wholesale Business Unit. You will be a part of the A2P SMS sales development team (by creating new interconnections, bringing in new customers and working on new A2P providers) with the strongest interconnections within the LATAM region. You will need to provide analysis and A2P SMS exchange forecast while negotiating to maximizing profit as a part of a bonus program. Additionally, you will need to control that the payments will be received on time and increase the sales experience. We expect you to be a successful salesperson that is a trusted and reliable partner for all new and existing customers. We welcome your creativity and business acumen to propose new ideas that can lead to new product opportunities and revenue streams.  

You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in wholesale, sales or business development areas with A2P SMS on an international level
  • Excellent interconnections within the LATAM Region
  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Economics, Business Management or similar
  • Experience with the Polaris system is preferred
  • Accomplished in many disciplines including, finding new vendors and
    negotiating contracts from single products to turnkey
  • Able to understand and analyze the industry and market; collect and analyze
    information, facts / figures and quickly catch up on any complex issues
  • A highly motivated and enthusiastic graduate with good understanding of partner business models
  • Excellent understanding of the A2P SMS ecosystem with industry relationships within Bulk SMS, Long Numbers and Short Code clients and suppliers
  • Capacity of initiative, working with a high level of autonomy and result oriented, organized and careful with details
  • Positive and problem-solving mindset
  • Clear understanding of financial metrics and business margin control
  • Fluency English both written and verbal
