we are looking to hire an

SMS Sales Director (SSD1023)

About the Role:

We are on the lookout for a vibrant, creative individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven track record as an A2P SMS Account Manager. Your primary objective will be to drive the growth and development of our company within the Messaging Ecosystem. Your energy will be instrumental in leading the Sales Team and establishing novel B2B Customer Channels, fostering revenue streams with a diverse array of multi-regional and national/corporate clients. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with cultivating a team of top-tier commercially minded SMS Account Managers and new business development executives. Managing crucial customer accounts will be a significant aspect, requiring the development of a robust account profitability model to optimize revenue and increase the customer spend share. Leveraging your expertise, you will design effective pricing and tender management policies, harnessing the power of CRM tools. Additionally, your innovation will be needed to conceptualize and implement compelling promotional strategies to both retain existing clients and entice new ones.

You Must Have:

  • 6+ years of experience in A2P SMS Wholesale Sales or Business Development on an international scale.
  • Excellent understanding of the A2P SMS Ecosystem with established industry relationships within Bulk SMS (Wholesale-Enterprise, OTT, Business Messaging, Long Numbers, Short Code, VAS, etc.).
  • Extensive professional network in the SMS Wholesale industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Excellent Communication and Influencing Skills, with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • The ability to create and implement strategies while managing a large team of sales or account professionals.
  • Commercially astute, with the vision and drive to excel in this challenging role and in a rapidly growing sector.
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written); knowledge of additional languages is considered a plus.
