LATAM A2P SMS Wholesale Manager (Code WMGL422)

About the Role:

We are looking for someone creative, with very good people skills and a strong analytical mind to join our Wholesale Business Unit. You will be reporting to the Senior Wholesale Manager and your goal is to contribute to our growth with your energy and sales skills. We welcome your creativity and business acumen to propose new ideas that can lead to new product opportunities and revenue streams.  

Responsibilities

You will contribute to add revenue & margin growth with autonomy and initiative by:

  • Developing & implementing the defined commercial strategy
  • Grow an international client base and revenues
  • Manage the clients and partners in your account
  • Control the margin and growth profit of your business deals
  • Use your creativity and business acumen to propose new products & services that you believe will generate new revenue streams
  • Look for new business opportunities with international Aggregators and Operators
  • Report on your sales performance
  • Support preparation of our presence in international trade fairs & forums
  • Understand our brand strategy and ensure its values are met with your internal and external customers
  • Focus your sales efforts mainly in Latin America

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Economics, Business Management or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wholesale, sales or business development areas in the Communication Services industry with A2P SMS
  • Excellent understanding of the A2P SMS ecosystem with industry relationships within Bulk SMS, Long Numbers and Short Code clients and suppliers
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in negotiation and deal closing
  • Proven experience in managing Wholesale customers
  • Capacity of initiative, working with a high level of autonomy and result oriented, organized and careful with details
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage with people from around the World
  • Clear understanding of financial metrics and business margin control
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English or Spanish and English
  • Positive and problem-solving mindset.

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of the Telecommunication ecosystem
  • Solid experience in Bulk SMS Aggregators
  • International experience is highly appreciated
  • Extended professional network in the Wholesale Telecommunication industry with the ability to bring in new business.
